New subscribers

This month, I gained many new subscribers from countries all over the world, from Norway to South Africa and from New Zealand to Bangladesh. It has been a special experience, and I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you. I hope you enjoy ‘the most beautiful game on earth’ as much as I do. It is complicated, challenging and sometimes maddening. Perhaps that is precisely why it is so beautiful. And let's be honest, no one promised that it would be easy to become a consistently profitable trader. And one more thing: In my google ads-account I see search terms such as ‘make money fast’. I would kindly advise these subscribers to unsubscribe and find a more suitable newsletter. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as getting rich quick through trading. Forget it. It’s not going to happen.

Looking back at the previous episode (episode-4 The Watchlist), I recommend that you read and carry out the assignment in the paid version. It never hurts to take a critical look at your watchlist. Perhaps the savings will outweigh the subscription fee. In any case, I found it very useful because I started to look very critically at the costs. As a Dutch citizen, I appear to pay more for EU shares outside the Netherlands, and if I buy shares in the USA, I lose a small fortune. I wonder why this is necessary and whether American customers pay as much. This insight has made me more cautious about buying US shares, which is very ironic when you look at the results for April. My two most profitable shares were Netflix and Goldman Sachs, i.e. shares for which I paid the most costs to banks.

In this episode, I will tell you a little about how EMA’s work, describe a number of setups, give you an assignment to work on, ask for your opinion in a poll and finally describe my experiences and results from the past few weeks. We will start with the EMA setups.
